Whether you want to enjoy a bit of warm sunshine at a beach or some beautiful scenery, you can find it all at one of many exotic destinations. One of our personal favorites is Punta Cana, which is perfect for travelers looking for cheap places to travel that offer lots of entertainment and things to do. There are plenty of nightlife activities and fun things for travelers who are visiting during December.

Some of the best bars in town include the Dos Playas Beach Club and the Casanova Beach Club, where drinks come with complementary live music from talented performers like Marlin Campos y Su Orquestra Caribeña.

If those options don’t suit your fancy, other hotspots worth checking out include the Jaco Beach Bar & Grill, Restaurant Bamboo – Gourmet Asian Fusion & Sushi Bar, and Havana Nights Karaoke Bar.

Punta Cana Weather:

There’s no better time of year than December to travel to Punta Cana, and one of our favorite times is during Christmas time. Since it gets colder there in winter, you’ll be able to enjoy sunny weather without having to sweat or feel uncomfortable at all.

Of course, if you prefer to avoid crowds around the holidays, we recommend traveling between mid-December and early January so you can experience an even more relaxing vacation in peace.

Either way, the locals will always make sure that visitors have an unforgettable time while they’re here!

Punta Cana Safety:

Security was never really a concern when staying in Punta Cana. The police were well organized and I felt safe walking by myself at any hour of the day.

If you plan on partying late into the night, remember that alcohol consumption is not legal before age 18, so keep this in mind when partying with friends. For example, many restaurants close by 10 pm but some stay open until midnight; this means anyone drinking before 10 pm cannot legally drink after 10 pm.

Punta Cana Cost:

You might find yourself surprised by how affordable it is to visit Punta Cana. The good news is that, even though flights and hotel stays can be more expensive during Christmas time, overall prices will stay below $500 per night for an entire week.

What’s more, most local vendors speak English as their second language so communicating with them shouldn’t be a problem.

Furthermore, tipping isn’t necessary as long as you follow what’s expected culturally (e.g., giving someone five bucks instead of ten) – just don’t go crazy because then the next thing you know your taxi driver is expecting ten bucks!

So there you have it, the best places to travel on a budget in December!

No matter where you choose to go, remember to research your destination thoroughly, plan ahead, and be flexible with your dates and activities. By planning ahead, you can enjoy an amazing and affordable vacation with your loved ones.

Good luck on your travels this holiday season!
