Tips on how you can improve your personal skills.
Everyone has a unique ability or skill they were born with. I can confidently say this is true. Some even start to show at a very tender age. If you are a mum and very observant, you will see these abilities in your child as he/she grows.
Once you have noticed these abilities, the best thing to do is help the child develop his/her talent.
Most people mistake skill for talent. A talent is an ability you were born with and might be genetic. Truth is some people are born with talent while being born with a skill.
Skills are mostly learnt.
There are different types of skills
- Technical skill
- Personal skill
- Managerial skill
- Leadership skill
Most of these skills can be transferable. Meaning its possible to teach a skill to other people. A lot of people learnt the skill they have now. Most skills require teamwork will others don’t.
Skills are transferable to other people in form of learning. For example, a manager who has good leadership skill is about to leave a company. He can decide to choose someone to take his place and if he sees that the person doesnt have some skills that require him to do the job, he would teach him What to do. (Leadership skill)
